I think I am in the right forum.

I have two processes running that I cannot Identify, I have looked every where to ID these two (2) to no avail.

    RoamMgr.exe
    RegSvrc.exe

They run from the system directory. What in the world are these and what do they do.

Any info. would be most appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance

Thank You and I am sorry for originally posting in the wrong forum.

I do believe the processes referenced are related to intel and I believe, have something to do with the Centrino Chip which the Comp in question has. but I am not sure.

Again, any information would be most appreciated.

You could google on the file names, as there are a lot of references to thos two files. Also search MS knowledge base

    Thank you for your reply.

I have googled the filenames and they do come up but only in a secondary sense, ie. as something that appears in posted HJT logs, however, there never identfied or discussed as being either "good or bad."

I tried the MS Knowledge Base - nothing.

None-the-less, thank you again for your input.
