xp has a defrag api bug,did you fix it?

i discovered that xp has a bug in the defrag api

no
today i make an image and installed xp3, it was a mess for my lan connection
i restored the image back to xp2

and i did not find the way when i installed xp3 , to get rid of the backups

ps is there a way to have the single hotfix to fix it

i did and i update every hotfixex after sp2
