XP gets frozen after instalation

Hi guys,

This is what happen:

I already installed Smart Security 4 in my computer. Thought, I installed the version for Windows Vista in my Windows XP system. It was a mistake. Big mistake, because after that, when the machine restarted, everything got frozen (all the icons), except the arrow of the mouse, but everything appears on desktop, but I cannot open.

I tryed to put on the safe-mode, and tryed to make the restoration of the system to a day before that, but the PC don´t respond after restart.

Please, guys, give me some help! I did that in a PC of a friend, not in "my computer" like I said before.

 

Have you uninstalled all previous Antivirus?

 

Actually.. no

No! There was already installed the Avira-Antivir.

Bullshit! Did I make all the mistakes as a human being can do?

What can I do know? Told me not to format, please!

Uninstall ESET, then uninstall Antivir, then reinstall ESET.
