XP firewall is it enough!

    Hello every one
    Do I need a 3rd party firewall like -free-zonealarm- in parallel with WinXP-SP2 one OR the later suffices
    many thanks.

    The free Zonealarm firewall is what I would recommend. The Windows firewall will not block outgoing spyware/trojans/keyloggers ect.. should you happen to get one. Both firewalls should not be used in tandem, choose one or the other.

    That clears up my question too. The firewall that comes with BitDefender Pro edition is only a firewall for outgoing threats - Softwin recommends that it be used in conjunction with the Windows Firewall.
