    Yes, is a courageous project, I tried a previous Alpha two years ago, but it's permanently in Alpha. :rolleyes:

    Actually ReactOS is now being incorporated into live boot cd's instead of xp. It is small, fast, an apparently is the en-vougue method, at least with the LiveXP project. My next PE project will have me testing it for sure.

    needs a bit more work for me.

    could not find my SATA drive and advised me to remove floppy. Does anyone still use drive A: ?

    Seems so slow development. Live CD is still empty of any programs, I even can,t use internet.

    I am looking for XP that does have All drivers and exhaustive software support but should not have any of its inbuilt software like its search,defragger, system restore, IE,media player, msn mess,outlook and other craps.It should be light weight like puppy linux.

    Setting up Windows XP Embedded is the other way around.
    You add what you want. After my first attempt I had an installation with the size of 170 MB.
    But after booting into it, it wasn't much more than the command line.
    Interesting though!
