With the release of this version, I have noticed the Print Screen button for taking screenshots seems to have stopped working.

For some screenshots, I usually click this button, then paste in Microsoft Paint. However, now when I navigate to MS Paint, there is nothing to paste.

    This is with XP.

See if it's not under Deny in the ID shield area.

If you mean the settings shown here , I am not sure which one would be denying the taking of a screenshot.

After I shutdown WSA, I can confirm that Printscreen key and paste to MS Paint does work, again.

    ScreenShot_Printscreen works whenWSA shutdown_01.gif

Not, unless you signed up, when they asked for beta testers in 2009.

When WSA was first being tested in 2011, there was, initially, a closed/private beta, with sign-up and acceptance: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=300981 (How WSA has evolved!).
Following that, sometime later there was a public/general beta testing for a time.
At present, only the original Closed beta testers still receive pre-release updates, and further sign-up is no longer available. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=2287135&postcount=147

Hope that is clearer now? :)

This time even shuttiing down WSA didn't allow me to grab a screenshot using Printscreen + MS Paint. Annoying, because it can be so convenient.

So, something else must be preventing the capture.

Are you a member at the Community? There is no Beta Testing group there, as all the Beta testers still have the info when they joined way back very early 2011. And any keycode can be used with the Beta.

yep , same username but created long time after being a beta tester

i am among them and i still use my original closed-beta keycode, i meant like Emsisoft support where closed-beta testers can share suggestions, issues and developpers asking what we should test and what fixes/features is implemented in the new beta releases.

i think a private forum will be more than useful than this thread where we just talk about the version number...

"hey i have a new version!" , "me too" , "cool" and that's it... ^^

You will have to ask Cat the Community Manager but I don't think it's necessary as we talk in the open forums just like here.
