WSA cannot/does not detect DowunoloAd KaeeepeeRR 1.6 malware

    Don't get me wrong WSA is still amongst the top if not the top AV BUT this is getting silly.

    Did you file a ticket to the support team about it? If not, I recommend you doing so.

    I cleaned it manually.

    I'm not familiar with this infection (nor is Google), but it sounds like it could be a PUA instead of actual malware? The support/threat team will be able to sort it out for you if you send in a log.

    That's fine thanks. I believe I was able to clean it myself. In fact to be sure I will run MBAM to get a second opinion. Hitman Pro is coming back "clean".

    (I found the clean up solution using Google...)
