Thank you ETrust...... So far, yesterday and today, I've had 19 emails, 14 with virused attachments and 5 apparently with viruses in the email itself. ETrust caught them all, passing through the couple of real emails I got.

What's going on and has anybody else been hit like this?

Got all the others Sobig variants, when they was hot, but the current F. model
    has avoided me :D

Yes, a lot of people over at DSLR are getting hit with many infected emails from Sobig.f. This is now a High risk worm at McAfee and a Category 3 at Symantec. It is spreading very fast.

There is a long discussion with about 85 replies so far over at DSLR on that worm and the kind of emails that people are getting

    Also another new one:
W32.Dumaru@mm (also Category 3) mass mailing worm
    http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.dumaru@mm.html

Sorry I cannot get that last URL to the Symantec write up to appear right...I guess it is the @ in the address or something (?), but I will see if I can find another for you if it doesn't work.

Wow Chuck 57 thats a load of wacky mail. Really good to hear how the eTrust v7 has been sorting them all out successfully .

Have you ever looked into mailwasher to preview your mail , there is a free version http://www.mailwasher.net/ and a pro version http://www.firetrust.com/products/mailwasherpro/
also from the same site benign.
I use both mailwasher and Benign ..Benign neutralizes or strips out the code that makes viruses, worms, scripts and other potentially harmful things run. 95% of virus etc come thru our mail its worth having good systems in place.
anyways great to hear how successful you have been with e Trust promo :
