    I think "program updates" means when you have auto update on and instead of just silently updating every hour, on the hour, BD instead pops up a screen and says you need to reboot because of a program update and asks if you want to reboot now or later. If the update was just signatures there would be no need to reboot.

    I agree that BD's heuristics are not as good as NOD32's but I prefer a signature application such as KAV or BD. What does it matter if the heuristics are not outstanding if the updates are every hour? NOD32 has too many false positives and doesn't update often enough.

    Well thats not exactly the case. Just look at AV-Comparatives retrospective tests. BitDefender was behind NOD32 but still quiet far ahead of the all others.
    Well see more in May 2006 test though...

    they work good with adding signatures.
    but i do not understand why dont they work more with Hive ?
