    I'm kind of surprised more people ran it in a "virtual environment" instead of "directly expected the software to be potentially harmful".

    Nothing new and surprising here. When it comes to computer security people aren't to with it. Of course the same can be said for backup

    I think that this is the most disturbing conclusion of their study. If nobody expects that a piece of software they download to be malicious then it's no wonder that they would execute anything on their computers...
