worry with lns 2.6 and that bl**dy vista

hi all

I have aworry with 2.6 version
have U ever had the same? the firewall logs ins and outs but doesn't stop a thing ^^
rules are not applied even if I told the prog to ...
but seems that the work 's not done (portscann = "open bar machine" :
ftp ssh telnet, the others ports are hidden not stealth as they should (not logical)
windows FW unactived or actived = the same)

config :
vista business (pro) antivirus laspersky 7.0
(XPS 1530 M)

I'm not a "n00b"(sys adm win /nux) and have used the 2.5 version for XP "hardening" and no worry at all
I don't understand
any idea?

hi, i have just started using on 32 bit vista, on standard settings it passed shields up and leak test 100% i think it works well.

If it is the same with the Windows Firewall, probably the problem is general and not specific to Look 'n' Stop.

Are you sure the scanner sends the packets to the right machine and network interface ?
Did you try GRC scan ? and verify GRC is displaying the IP of the machine running the firewall (and not the IP address of an intermediate router, which is the usual reason to have a failed scan test).
