    Hi everyone :

I'm new to this forum, I expect to post this message in the right place. I'm wondering when Javacool will update its signature file (the last one is 2 weeks ago, 28th January, 200:cool:, I'm getting a little worried for this delay, because I like this product. I hope too, to see a new version (3.6, 4.0) may be ito_O?

I appreciate your time and feedback, and thanks in advance

    Kindly regards

    Hello,

The time frame u mentioned for updates is pretty much normal for SWB. On average every few weeks or so.

Thanks for your reply, so do you mean between 2-3 weekso_O?. Hmmm... well its not actually a bug, but the other day I found 25 tracking cookies (not a big threat), and SWB didn't catched enyone because the 25 aren't in the list that covers SWB. So you reply relieves me.:)

    Thanks
    MiguelAngelXP

P.D. I hope that Javacool launches a new release within the year :D

Mostly. They can happen sooner on occasion.

    I would say that's a pretty safe bet. ;) :D

I everyone , I just downloaded the last signature file, thanks a lot. I really hope to see a new version, because really the tracking cookies (they are benign compared to the other types of spyware) are really increasing :(

    Regards
    MiguelAngelXP :D

P.D. for me this topic may be deleted if the other forumers agree

    Hi,

Yep - a database update was just released a few hours ago. :)

If you have a chance, could you please post a log from the program that detected those tracking cookies? I'd be happy to take a look and investigate them for future inclusion in the SpywareBlaster database.

And regarding the new version: you shouldn't have too much longer to wait.

    Best regards,

    -Javacool

Any chance protection for Opera being in the new version?
