Worldwide antivirus market share report

    I always thought that Norton has the largest market share based on the number of new computers I've seen with Norton antivirus preinstalled, but it only captured 10% of the worldwide antivirus market.

    It's quite surprising that Avast! has 20% of the market share... Assuming that the strength of collective intelligence or (cloud solution) is based on the number of users, it would be a waste for Avast! or Avira not taking full advantage of that to develop one of the most powerful cloud AV. :)
