I oftentimes still browse the net with IE 11. Once upon a time you could actually land on popular interest sites with the occasional boxes of ads that laced the right or left margins. My how times change.

Even sites like good ole MajorGeeks, the moment it opens in IE, here comes flying right in the center of the page (before you can even look at anything else) interruption box sticking right in the readers face. Now that is mainly to draw attention to register etc. but annoying nonetheless.

Good news is many are simply that, BUT, as pointed out in the article, redirection campaigns are being pushed into some websites that steer the lander to scam sites or worse. No one uses IE anymore I know, plus with more modern browsers such attempts are easily alerted on or stopped entirely before they have a chance to REDIRECT.

BUT AGAIN, what a bunch of lamers to have nothing else to do but fudge around on websites like Wordpress (likely others) to play script kiddie games. Give me a break.:cautious:
