wolset.exe

    I did a full scan with MalWareBytes free edtion as the scan was running 1 infected file pop up. I looked it up on Prevx's web page they say its not a infection, I uploaded it to virustotal and it come back 3/41. I'm using a toshiba laptop not sure if its part of my laptop. Does anybody know what this wolset.exe is? Its in Quarantine right now.

    Seems to be a Wake-on-Lan setup utility. See here. That's just going on the filename and a similar comment.

    Yes BlueZannetti I went to Toshiba's Laptop Forum, They said it is Wake On Lan to allow the computers Network Card to wake the computer when hit by the correct signal from a networked computer. So I have disabled it. Thanks for the info RSpanky
