I decided to download the new Eset Smart Security, to check out the new version, and to my surprise, it runs pretty hefty...or is it just me. What are you guys running it at?

    I'm at 50k

I had it run past 100mb for ekrn.. :)

It's like spyware nowdays, when coupled with the mega 100% CPU spikes.

Soon we will need a CPU and a memory bank dedicated to EKRN.exe YAY!!!!!:argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh:

just under 50 here, out of the 3 packages i use it's the biggest by double (nearly treble), doesnt slow anything down, but i think they got carried away with the features, i havnt used nod on my gaming pc since v2 stopped being worked on and v3 came in a little heavier.

    I'm running ESS 4.0at 49K.

Before ESS 3.0 ran at 39K.

That's something of a (10K) jump but it shouldn't affect system performance.
For all of the new threats that keep popping up day after day it's a small consolation.

The more processes and/or applications you got going the more it has to work.
