I have a Sager NP8235 gaming laptop. It uses the Intel Dual Band AC7260 wireless AC WLAN card and a Realtek PCIe GBE gigabit LAN card.

Up stairs I have my laptop plugged in via Cat5e cable. When I move down stairs and unplug the LAN connection the WLAN connection disappears. While the LAN is plugged in the WLAN is visible. Only way to get it back is to reboot the PC. After a reboot the WLAN card is available and functions without issues.

Anyone ever see an instance where unplugging the LAN network cable will cause the WLAN card to disappear?
