When booting from the Acronis CD my wirelsss keyboard & mouse behave strange. The mouse would only move up and down on one given point on the screen (no chance to move right-left). The wirless keyboard, however, seems to work but without mouse navigating is almost impossible. I can't just attach a wired mouse because for a wired USB mouse to work, I have to unplug the wirless transmitter which connects both keyboard & mouse.

    vejuu,

Try the acpi=off noapic parameter as detailed in Please Read Before You Post sticky or the usbmouse=off parameter in the same fashion, or both toghether.

Are you sure? Have you tried plugging in either a PS/2 or USB mouse while using the wireless transmitter? It may work.

    Hello veejuu,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

First of all, please make that the Bootable CD is created with the latest build (3677) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home. To get access to updates you should first register your software.

Please also try booting with "usbmouse=off" parameter as bVolk suggested. The procedure is described in Acronis Help Post.

If the issue persists, please create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post. Provide us with the exact model and vendor of the mouse you use. Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
