wireless router settings.

i thought i would ask a few questions after reading the other thread about router secuirty settings.
atm i use wep encrytion.
you may think im mad but i have my reasons.
my nintendo ds only supports wep.
i think my nintendo wii supports WPA thou.
is it possible to get the nintendo ds to use wep while everything else has to connect using wpa?
in a few days im gonna get a linksys wag200g to replace my bthomehub and thought i would ask some questions about secuirty.
i have already changed the default username and password.

No, but if you buy the usb device from nintendo that allows your ds to only connect to your computer through the nintendo device which will then allow it to use your computer's connection, that would work the best. Also, if your Wii supports it, maybe it could connect through the Wii to the internet? Just a guess.

the problem with the dongle is that i would need the computer on to use the ds online.
i know its on most of the time but i think i might need to be logged on to use the connection.
i have got the usb dongle thou.
