I tried to install a wireless network. I use cable to connect to the net, but need wireless to make use of this media player:

    I have this wireless pci-card:

But I cannot connect. I think it is because I disabled some services. The reason I think so is because if I restore an older image (before disabling services) everything is fine. Within the older image it takes me a minute to connect.

I followed the Black Vipers "safe"-list. Here is what I have deactivated:

What do I need to activate?

I have Windows XP Home Serv.p.2

    Thanks

I would turn on Network Location Awareness

edit: You may run into more issues down the road (with other software / hardware). This is what happens when you arbitrarily turn off services. You should at least know what its used for before you shut it down, no matter who's list its on.
