    I'm using windows xp sp2 and ti 9.2337. My wireless optical mouse dosn't work right while using recovery cd. I have installed the mouse since I made the recovery cd, would it help if i made a new recovery cd now that the new mouse is installed? Or would that not make a difference?

    I believe there is a workaround for wireless devices but why not revert to the standard mouse while you use TI. Multiple usb devices and wireless keyboard/mouse seem to present many problems for TI.

    NO, the recovery CD is the same. The option I used was to hit F11 and enter usbmouse=off. HOWEVER, the latest build 3567 fixes all of that for me once you creata a new 3567 based recovery cd.

    Hello thebigdintx,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

    First of all, please download and install the latest build (3567) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home which is available at: http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/support/updates/

    To get access to updates you should create an account at:
    http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/
    then log in and use your serial number to register your software.

    Please uninstall build 2337 by following Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> Acronis True Image, prior to installing build 3567.

    Create new Bootable Rescue CD after installing the update, boot your computer from this CD and see if the problem still persists.

    If the problem still persists with Bootable Rescue CD created using the latest build (3567) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home then please try booting with "acpi=off noapic" parameter as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    If that does not help and you use non-USB keyboard then please also try disabling USB Legacy Support in your computer's BIOS settings.

    If that does not help either then please provide us with the following information:

    - Boot the computer from Bootable Rescue CD created using the latest build (3567) of Acronis True Image 9.0 Home once more and create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) file as it is described in Acronis Help Post;

    Please note that sometimes the sysinfo.txt file is not readable from under Windows. In this case please try entering the file name using capital letters (SYSINFO.TXT) or follow the instructions provided in this previous post of mine.

    If you do not have a floppy drive then please take a look at this previous post of mine explaining how to save the sysinfo.txt file to USB flash drive.

    - Let us know the exact vendor and model of your wireless mouse;

    - Describe the behavior of your mouse in more details;

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
