Windows xp sp3 firewall

    I've noticed that after installing smart security 4.2
    the inbuilt xp sp3 firewall is active.
    does 4.2 do this, (it may just as easily been any other app) cos i had disabled the sp3 firewall when i installed ess 4.

    my question is could/should i disable the inbuilt windows firewall in Ess 4.2

    you can disable it as you just did but there would have been no conflict if you didn't

    i'll keep it disabled then no point in having two firewalls doing the same thing
