Please tell me how I may use True Image 8.0 to recover a required file if Windows XP does not start. I have a good True Image boot disk and a full backup of my boot drive where Windows XP resides.

    Thank you

    Hello Loulak,

Thank you for choosing Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Since you cannot boot Windows you won't be able to explore the image. It means that the only way will be to restore the image though it will delete all the files on the target partition.

    Thank you.
