Is it possible for Windows XP to be offline and completely disconnected from internet but to allow guest OS to connect to the internet via USB WiFi?

In other words, I don’t want any bridged connection of any kind for obvious reasons.

My understanding is that the only way for guest OS to connect to the internet via internal WiFi is via bridged connection. But a dedicated USB WiFi stick should bypass this issue no?

Essentially plan is to have offline host and online guest on demand.

I would think it would be doable. Worst case you could bridge it and enter invalid info in the host so it can't connect. Do a static IP on the host with a blank or invalid gateway. Then put correct info in the guest.
