Windows - Why So Difficult?

    He writes of how difficult Windows applications make it to move to a new computer. He also reminds us of how easy it is with a Macintosh with everything in one directory. I remember those good old days when that's how it was with Windows; "installing" a program meant putting it into a directory and running it. No registry, no scattered "application data" folders, etc. Good article though at Cnet and a problem we all curse at one time or another.
