As windows Vista Ultimate is the best Vista version around. Home user would benefit from Ultimate right?

    well from http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SW-041-MS&tool=3

The price is only £109.99 compared to other £2**.**

    Its cheap right?

I wouldn't buy it now but in the future it will be even cheaper on that site and it would be recommended for a home users as well?

I would buy new hardware plus Vista Ultimate?

It is cheaper because it is an OEM version - the licence is locked into the machine it is installed on. So you can't transfer the licence if you want to change your machine at a later date.

There is no reason, why home users should buy the most expensive Ultimate only.
Unless they want some feature included in Ultimate only, like backup, ISS, GPO, etc.
I used Ultimate for 2 months, then I moved to Home Basic & I am still quite satisfied.
Home Premium has all, what a home user could really use, including "an awesome" Aero.
