Does someone already have procedures have automating Windows updates while using Returnil. This is what I was thinking....just haven't tried it yet.

    1. Schedule Returnil to turn off at 03:00
    2. reboot at 03:05
    3. Windows Update at 03:30
    4. Schedule Returnil to turn on at 05:00
    5. reboot at 05:05

If anyone has steps/procedures already outlined please let me know.

    Hi LillyWhites,
The first thing to keep in mind is that the scheduler in the 2x series is not a service. This means that it is only valid when the applicable user is logged into their account. We will be exploring a more robust schedualing feature in future versions as we go forward.

In regards to your question however I would strongly recommend doing this on a specific maintenance day where you schedule Windows to atomatically download and install the latest updates with RVS protection off. This is the most convenient way to ensure that there is no interference with the MS update process.
