Windows Update

    Just installed ESET SS 5.
    Can't update Windows 7. Assume it is caused by ESET SS 5.
    Error message is 80072efd.
    If ESET caused this please be specific and simple so that
    I can follow the instructions. I have a lot of trouble
    installing Rules.
    I have a router and the firewall in windows is set to off.
    Eset firewall is on. It is set the the interactive filtering mode

    The problem is caused by my Firewall settings in ESET SS 5.
    I have it set to interactive mode. I temp changed it to automatic mode
    and was able to access Windows update.
    BUT What to do about it as I want to use interactive mode!

    Are you sure you have given Windows Update internet access when it first tried to update? Check the settings manually from the exceptions list or add an exception for it and set it to allow.
