Windows "Support" calls

    I got one of these calls not long ago. They told me my computer was sending out viruses. I kept them talking for a while and told them that maybe my website was infected and possibly that had spread to my computer. They said they would check my website to make sure so I gave them a fresh url for some ransomware exploit on MDL. When they said they would go check the site I told them I needed to put them on hold which I did and left my office. Not sure how much longer they waited on hold or if they checked the site though.

    I find those scammers amusing. Back then I was using Linux but the guy on the other line was convinced I used Windows - no he actually told me "NO, you use Windows XP!". How do you know that I asked. He said "I can see everything from here". Etc.
