Just upgraded to SP2. Very painless. No problems so far and everything seems to operate the same as before. Opened up the new Windows Security Center and clicked on virus protection. It has a link to av trial offers from Microsoft partners. If anyone is interested, you should take a look at the link. I was going to go to CircuitCity this weekend to get eTrust EZ AV 2005 for 19.95, but through the link, they're offering eTrust EzArmor LE 2005 (av and firewall), a 49.95 value, for a 12 month trial. Not bad. Other offers are F secure for 6 months, Panda Platinum for 90 days, Norton for 90 days, and Trend Micro for 90 days. Mcafee has a 12 month free subscription after rebate.
One sidenote, the eTrust EzArmour trial is different from the retail version. Just read the small print. Here's a link to explain the difference. Its the firewall.
