Windows security patches - safe?

    Maybe I did :D I don't know, it ran for awhile though, so it must have done something. I don't really care about this, because I can always rollback to my original WinXPproSP2.
    I have bigger problems than Windows Update.

    I thought that you were using IFD? Why not image prior to applying a MS monthly patch, whether you wait awhile to patch or not?
