WSC usually recognises NOD32 antivirus is installed and up to date.
Occasionally this is not the case. Sometimes the message is that Norton Antivirus 2005 is installed and out of date. This antivirus is not installed to my knowledge. I have previously run throgh add/remove and can find no reference to this Antivirus. Just in case I missed something I ran the Norton removal tool a few months ago.
The only solution which seems to work is to restart my PC when the information again shows NOD32.
Any ideas as to why this can happen and how to stop it.

I run AMD 3000+ with 756MB RAM XP Home SP2 Windows automatic updates

    Hi Tudor, welcome to Wilders.

Please Download, SAVE and then run the Norton Removal tool for versions 2003 to 2007 use THIS LINK as it would appear you still have Norton on your system.

    Cheers :D
