Can windows firewall block advanced attacks like SYN floods, IP fragments, illegal flags, etc. out of the box or does it need rules for these elements and if it needs rules, how would i format them?

P.S. I ask because i was going to use Look n Stop on the server, but i noticed that on my Windows 7 computer its limited to 256 connections and i dont know if this is a limit of Windows 7 or a limit of Look n Stop.
