Windows Defender question

    Will Windows Defender still update automatically if I disable Windows Update??

    No, you will need to manually update it then.

    But it can be told to update before a daily scheduled scan.

    I guess the registry trick for MSE may also work with windows defender. But MD only updates 2-3 times a week if automatic or manually updated, although it updates atleast twise a day in their server.
