I use Windows 2002 XP Home with SP3. My browser is Firefox 3.6
My firewall is part of Comodo IS-V4.

    Question ?
In the event of my CIS firewall making a pit stop, is the Windows firewall any good ? If so, how good ?

My impression is that Windows FW is like a bike with one wheel, but I would love to hear more technical and constructive views.

    Many thanks

Looks fine Ronjor, seems a pretty good thread on Granny Windows firewall. Quite comprehensive.
Every time I search the Forum for a subject I go round in circles.

Delete my thread if you like.

Comodo firewall is inbound/outbound with HIPS. Windows firewall is simple inbound and open ports. So in a way they are different kinds of products. Comodo affords more security, but if you are only looking for inbound protection then Windows will suffice.

Check the sticky threads at the top of each forum before you search. There is a lot of info in those stickies.
