whenever i push the start button on my computer case to start my computer it makes 1 beep sound. I know nothing is wrong but i want to disable it. Does anyone know how? I already disabled the system beep through registry but for some reason the computer still beeps during startup when i press the start button to turn my computer on.

different bios make different meaning for 1 beep did you see above? Otherwise one, drastic option, to disconnect a wire inside

On Dell, you need the model of computer as well as revision of bios, else which v.1.0.8 would one look for?

    Example: Optiplex G300 v.1.0.8

    Hi,
If you really want to stop the beep try the hidden MS setting.
In Device Manager click on view and select show hidden devices,
then select non plug and play drivers, then beep. Personally next I would right click on beep - select properties and then driver. Under start up type change it from system to disabled. That way if you ever want it back again you can reverse the process.
Hope that helps you achieve your goal.

Check motherboard manual. Every vendor/model has an unique way to announce an error. Sometimes yes, the computer is fine,
