How do you configure the account lockout threshold for Windows 8 when using Microsoft Accounts?

I have tried configuring the policies through group policy but they don’t seem to work. Is there something I’m missing or does it not work when logging in with ms accounts. If so can you configure it with the registry?

    This is my current settings:

    Account lockout duration 5 minutes
Account lockout threshold 2 invalid login attempts
Reset account lockout counter after 5 minutes

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your responses I checked the web link but it is similar to how I set it up and doesn’t seem to work. I’m thinking it could be something to do with it been a Microsoft Account but not sure.

Has anybody else tried it with Microsoft Accounts not normal local accounts?
