I noticed that I have this connection in my Network Connections.

But, this appeared recently in the Network Connections. It didn't use to be there. Most likely, this appeared when I accidently clicked in a wireless connection that the laptop captured, I think.

I tried uninstalling it, but it keeps returning. For now, I disabled it, which is most likely the best solution.

Anyway, if I would ever want to completely uninstall it, what would be the best procedure?

    -edit-

I found this link meanwhile, during my research. -http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee354192(VS.85).aspx

    I'll look into it.

Anyway, did this damn thing ever sneak on you? :argh:

Yes, it did appear for me (hasn't for a while since my last reinstal, though).

I forget what I found out, but I do remember that it was normal and nothing to worry about. And I to had to disable it only because it interfered with Adobe updates for Lightroom and Photoshop (for some reason).
