I have Windows 7 Home 64-bit and I can't seem to install Sandboxie Classic or Plus. The former keeps giving me the driver signing error and it won't install no matter what. What's crazy is that I tried turning on test signing mode, enabling nointegritychecks, etc. Even disabling the Program Compatibility Assistant service does nothing. Any solution?

With Plus, it gives an error message about "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing". I tried some Windows Update that is supposed to correct the issue but it didn't do anything.

the sha2 update is from march/2019, there exist no excuse why installing software before windows 7 was not fully updated. in fact the last update was 2020 and now i has >700 security issues. sandboxie cannot change this. for firefox 100 sha2 is mandatory.
