Multiple times a day windows 7 has high disc activity and as a result freezes for 1-2 minutes, each time it happens. Actually it does not freeze but because of the heavy disk activity, I cannot do much during that time.

It seems that it happens when "RacTask schedules" run and when "Microsoft Windows security auditing" fails to verify a driver.

Has anyone else noticed that, or am I the only one that has this problem?

A quick update (since it happened again).

It is definitily caused by the "service control manager", this time caused by the "AeLookupSvc" service.

 I never had this problems during the beta testing of 7. :doubt:
