:D or non-skippable audio ads in phone/messenger calls before the call is established.

Only if that $2.99 is spent on an ad blocker...
Pretty sure I haven't seen this before today but I could have just been ignoring it previously.

Probably a Bing search like @Trooper said. However, when I clicked it (I wanted to see where it went) nothing happened

Release Preview. Which usually gets rolled out within a week or so to everyone else.

Today was a different link and when I clicked it and unlocked the screen Edge was open to Microsoft.com with a page relevant to the link. I'd think this not very effective even if I was interested in the content as it just seems odd to click links on the lockscreen to look at sites on the other side of it.

so assuming it will offer links on the lockscreen based on my surfing habits, and if i'm a regular of hamster or pronhub, should i expect to see relevant links on my lockscreen?:eek::eek:

Probably not from Microsoft. Actually now that I think about it and remember some of the things I have seen on a Bing image search, maybe...

I don't want to drag this too far off topic but since they seem to be integrating bing into the start menu search I assume it's fair game... if you have safe search off and search for many things you would otherwise consider innocent you may be surprised by some of the results you get in an image search. Definitely not something to do while at work.

Agreed! I like 11 so much more than 10.
