    That is absurd, @TairikuOkami.

I have a <64 GB partition on each laptop where just a vanilla Win 10 is installed.
PC Health Check gives a :thumb: for Win 11 even in each of those instances, maybe because the whole SSD is 256GB and 512GB respectively?

But it fails the WhyNotWin11 Storage test in those partitions (only), WinSysCheck11 also - hopefully this gets ironed out!

This is a blog post from Microsoft which details the reasons for the new system requirements. So, it seems that the stated system requirements are not going to see much change, which is bad news for a lot of people who have incompatible CPUs.

So when they said Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows... that will actually be true for a lot of people.

I have lost faith in these "compatibility results" results...

Given the escalation of their version updates, it seems they're scrambling to attain relevance.

Maybe I'll give 'em, or whatever's their counterparts, another shot next year (or sometime in 2025) when Win11 might garner my attention.

I created a partition with 66666MB, just in case, it showed as 65.0GB, after install it was only 64.5GB. Either way, after I have customized it, I have 75% space free (48GB) and it runs nice and quiet. :D

As much as I want to use Windows 11, I certainly won't be upgrading to a computer with a compatible processor. Hopefully in 2025 when support for Windows 10 ends, I will be able to buy a cheap used computer with a compatible processor.

Is Windows 11 what we thought would be 21H2?

Does this mean that those stuck on Windows 10 (like me) won’t get native DOH?

Thanks @TairikuOkami. I was envisaging resizing my smaller partitions for vanilla Windows to 65 GB, but that will mean resizing and / or moving other partitions.

Inclined to wait for the moment!

Nor I, but I'm not even in a hurry to try Win11. Nothing I've seen, read, or heard compels me to try it. I think I've said in this thread before, if my machines are still alive in 2025 I'll quite happily migrate to Linux full-time.

    Just a note.
The Internet is full of instructions how to install Windows11 with LEGACY BIOS and Unsupported Secure Boot.
    It can be easily done.

Yes, I've been running it since last Friday and it's undergone some revisions already--there is another cumulative KB downloading now--KB5004564. No changelog but Automatic Sample submission is still turned off when you restart and Core integrity still can't be enabled.

Hopefully, people can bypass these restrictions safely and keep Windows 11 installed indefinitely. If I had an ineligible machine and bypassed them to install Windows 11, I would always have concerns when Patch day rolls around.
