Sounds good, but I'd fix bugs first.

may be so but the thread title is not "...the desktop feature many wanted". it's "...the desktop feature everybody wanted".

I care about wallpapers, but not about some automatic Bing wallpaper. Why would I have some random wallpapers from Bing instead of a rotation of wallpapers of my own chosing? o_O

I am not a person that cares about aesthetics much, but I must admit I like Bing background photographs and Windows Spotlight.

Yeah, me too. I use different themes with rotating backgrounds and Spotlight on the Lock Screen. Although I don't use Bing to search I do have it set as my home page in my browsers.

Actually Windows Vista Ultimate had the feature that I wanted. Animated backgrounds. Unfortunately it froze and crashed a lot. I assume that is why it did not continue. I'd rather have a working version of that feature than this.

I'm too lazy to put work (search for many photographs, download right resolution etc) for purely aesthetic outcome. I like Windows Spotlight doing this for me. Anyway I'm pretty sure there is a way to add animated wallpaper to Windows 10 desktop, because I saw streamers on Twitch that had these kind of wallpapers. Quick search suggest that one must install app from Microsoft Store.

Stardock DeskScapes works but isn't free. I'm not willing to spend the money at this time.

I use my own or pretty nice (free) ones - but have to be extra wide because of dual screen :D
