    Before anyone get their knickers in a twist over this, then let's just remember that Google has been showing a big yellow box in top of the browser warning you that you ought to install Chrome and use that instead of Edge.
    This has been going on for more than a year.
    Ask a colleague with a Google account to log into a Google service from Edge and you will see.
    Google has used all kinds of slogans in that yellow warning box to try and get users away from Edge.
    The Microsoft notifications can be switched off with one click with the mouse in Settings.
    The ones from Google can't.

    Edge and Chrome are both very secure browsers with very dedicated teams. I seriously doubt this is any more than the two teams teasing each other.

    I hope that they don't decide to remove cmd entirely. For me, that's another reason to stay with W7 as long as possible.
