    Hi all,
I'm playing around with the virtual Windows XP that is used with the special XP feature of Windows 7 64bit Professional operating system.

Question #1. Can it be trusted for software testing like Shadow Defender by dumping all changes?

Question #2. Since the virtual XP is saved to hibernation, can it be used to test software that requires a reboot?

Question #3. Is there any connection between the parent OS and the virtual OS that would allow cross contamination/infection?

Thanks for your patience with a virtual noob like me.

    1. Yes all changes can be dumped.
    2. Yes, no problem.
    3. Sharing a drive, it is possible though rare that malware can escape the VM. I set mine up to transfer samples on a flash drive, then disconnect the flash drive. Doing it that way I've had no escapes.
