I receive the following with regularity on our laptop.

    FILE:c:\Windows\msagent\chars\iismfc.dll

    Virus: Win32/Agent.CStrojon

AMON cannot clean this infiltration. Event occurred at an attempt to access this file.

Can anyone advise me how to get rid of the problem once and for all. I've not been able to find any info at all on this trogan especially how to get rid of it.

    Thanks,
    P

First off, be sure you're using Blackspear's "extra" settings in NOD32, they're in a sticky thread at the top of the NOD32 version 2 forum.

Try booting into safe mode (assuming you have Windows XP/2K) and running NOD32 once you tweak the settings.

Not a good thing if you've had this on your computer for a while. Might want to change your passwords to all the sites you visit once you clean your computer up... or just use another one to be safe.
