I've got a Threat Detection for Win32/Adware.Virtumonde.BQ Application. I can't delete it -the threat won't go away.

    Any solutions ?

    Thx

Virtumonde/vundo usually can't be deleted by most antiviruses while scanning in normal mode, but often can in safe mode. You could try booting into safe mode and running a full system scan.

To remove any already injected Virtumonde dll, download and run the Undll utility by Paolo Monti that is downloadable from http://www.nod32.it/tools/undll.zip. Then browse for the dll detected by NOD32 and unload it. After a computer restart, it should be gone.

Many thx Marcos. I followed your instructions and it worked. Why could I not find that solution on the NOD32 website ?

    Again, thank you

Would you recommend other spyware detection software to work with NOD32 ? I've done 3 in-depth scans with NOD32 and have found 2 other threats, both able to be deleted. What worries me is not knowing how many others may go undetected.

Many thx for your kind assistance & expertise.

I recommend you SUPERAntiSpyware and AVG Antispyware.
