Win2k windows update...

    Ok, I downloaded and installed todays patch for windows 2000 pro, and now under Windows Update it says I require 5 more patches (Which, I am downloading/installing now) but also, it has IE6, and WMP9 listed, which, I already have, is this just a glitch?

    Is it installing full versions of IE and WMP9 or just updates for these two programs?

    Their the full versions not listed under updates... I didn't select them for install, just the security updates...

    I just done a scan again, now their not there after installing the critical security updates, guess it was a glitch on Microsofts part.

    That does sound strange, I have never had win updates install anything I did not specify before. If you do find out what happened please post it back here. I am going to install win2k tomorow on another partition and would like to know what it is in case it ever happens to me.
