hello, i have just installed ESS4 on win 7 and i have noticed that the context menu exists only in the folder context menu. There is not on a file context menu. Reinstalled ess4, but same result.

    help!

    thanks in advance.

Uninstall, reboot, open regedit and search for "eset smart" and remove all entries, particularly any that have to do with "context menu shell extension". Also open windows explorer and remove anything left in your user profile. Though it might not be necessary, I would probably reboot at this point. Then reinstall.

I don't expect anyone to put much effort into fixing anything on the RC, but the RTM is available to some. If the RTM has this problem it would probably be helpful to know if this is 32 or 64 bit, as I am sure they use different shell extensions. And they still might say it isn't supported because 7 is not a public release. :(
