Will this combo work (and is it any good? - I'm not an expert )?:

Router (with firewall on)
NOD2.7
BoClean 4.25
ZAP7.xx

On-Demand:
SAS Free

I don't surf a lot and I download from usenet (movies only).

I have used the above combination with no problems. I do not believe that you actually need all the protection that this gives but why not try it out on your machine.

Just out of curiosity...What would you leave out (or replace with another application)?

 

I had NOD2.7, BOClean and SAS Pro, with no problems at all... If I were you, I would add some inmunization, like SpywareBlaster and a Backup software.
Also I would browse the web with Opera or Firefox.
If you (and your computer) feel comfortable with that set-up, leave it so, but remember that no solution is 100% bulletproof... check suspicious files with more than one scanner (I use virustotal.com), and even so, be prepared to use your backup if anything goes wrong...
